I'm back at home! But that is not the point of this post. The point is: WHY IS MY LIFE RIDICULOUS.

Backstory: a few months ago, I received a friend request on Facebook from a Jack Du on the China network, and I rejected it because ummm I don't know him and I tend to get requests from questionable people sometimes. A few days ago, I get another friend request from him, this time with a customized message that went along the lines of, "I really want to be friends!" and I see that we have one friend in common, though it's a senior at BU who I only met once and that was when he messaged me to ask if I could burn him a copy of Goong (asfldkj, I watch my first asian drama in years and suddenly I'm known as a ~dealer~) and :((( I felt too bad rejecting the request again, so I accept and figure I'll just discreetly remove him a week later.

UHHHH, OBSERVE:



WHAT? WHAT? This wouldn't even be considered normal in China or IN CHINESE, okay. THIS IS UNIVERSALLY WEIRD.

And then. Today, I got another friend request!
